3D Printing

Throughout the year, I've assisted in helping to teach our class, and anyone else who is interested through CAD club, how to 3D print there designs using our Ender 3 V2 3D printers.

This has involved developing profiles with optimal machine settings, teaching software skills to convert models into GCODE, and setup and maintenance on the printers.

Beyond our class, I've also gotten the change to apply design & 3d printing skills through several real-world projects

Real-World Projects

Meterstick Mass Hangers

These mass hangers, which slide over a meterstick, clamp at a specific point, and hang a mass from a specific angle, were created for my physics teacher for use in a lab measuring torque. Although similar products are sold by physics supply companies, they break easy and are very expensive to replace.

After modeling and testing them to be accurate, I posted the design on Thingiverse so anyone is able to print their own.
